With approximately 5200 square feet, the new accommodations provide two clinical skills rooms, five videoconference/seminar rooms, five on-call rooms, washroom and shower facilities, a student/resident lounge, and administrative space.

The new University Hospital of Northern B.C. (UHNBC) Learning and Development Centre of 1,365-square-metre (14,692 square-feet)  includes a library, seminar rooms with a combined capacity of up to 140 people, a clinical simulation centre, video-conferencing rooms, and group-study areas.

The University Hospital of Northern B.C. (UHNBC) on June 9, 2015 opened a Learning and Development Centre that expands and enhances the education and training of UBC medical students and medical residents in Prince George.
