RJH Coronation Annex-Construction Update

Update #1: June 9, 2014

Farmer Construction is now on site at Royal Jubilee Hospital, Coronation Annex and renovation work on Level 2 will begin Monday, June 9. Construction access to the 2nd floor will be via the west stairwell (just off Richmond Ave.) First up is demolition of existing structures on the second floor – expected to last approximately one month.

We do not anticipate significant impact on first floor activities at this point, other than noise. We will be working closely with the on-site construction manager to ensure we have advance notice of unavoidable disruptions to particular rooms (eg. to permit contractor access to existing electrical or mechanical services). In the event these disruptions affect previously booked activities, our room bookers will work to secure alternative locations.
Signage will be posted throughout the first floor of Coronation Annex to advise all space users and visitors about construction. Apologies if you receive this notice multiple times.

Once again we appreciate your patience!
